except your greenlee and Burndy dies will not work with this tool. I bought a 3/0 (SCD1-7) Ferrule die from them and modified it to fit my Greenlee 12 ton hydraulic crimper. You need a machine shop to modify their dies.

Excellent video. You need to show more CLEARLY which way the wires are inserted. Which is the top? The lock tab or smooth side? It looks like you're working on the smooth side which is the bottom? Orange to the left?

Wrong! You did not include the "stress relief boot" which should be installed before this process. I hate it when people on U tube pretend to know what they are doing and then people in the comments praise them. It is true that these May not be mandatory although I believe they are it is just wrong to not include this extra step even as an option. People will do anything to get their 15 minutes of fame.

Thank you so much. I've been dreaming of getting wired internet when I realized there was a ethernet wall jack in my room. The only problem was, the keystone was connected and everything, but the other end of that ethernet cable was just showing wires. That was a huge problem because that ethernet cable was in the basement right next to the modem, but my router is connected to an ethernet port in my parent's room, but I wanted it in my room. But after seeing this video, I was able to get the ethernet port all ready to go plugged in my modem, and now I have wired internet on my Gaming PC.

Unsure why you are using a crimper designed specifically for UN-insulated terminals. This is the incorrect die to be using on insulated and/or heat shrink insulated terminals.

The 2nd one looks like it’s loose; the ridge where the sleeve is raised is bigger than the material’s thickness. Also, you said they can’t pull apart but you didn’t pull hard. What kind of pulling force would they safely withstand?

You make it look so easy. I needed 4 plugs and broke another 6. They cross over during insertion. Some of the wires like 7 an 8 do not seem to be used. Next time I will try RJ45 snap plug so that the wires stick out the end which I can then check before crimping, Thank you for the video.

No detail given. You gave the order of the wires but didn’t mention what direction to turn the connector. It’s was like a recipe that gives ingredients, tells you to combine and cook until done. Correct, but not not detailed enough for most.
